Jimmy Fallon Became Tom Petty To Recreate The Video For ‘Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around’ With Stevie Nicks

If Jimmy Fallon likes to do one thing on his shows it’s morph into legendary musical acts. He’s done it with Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young and The Beatles in the past and tonight he transformed himself into Tom Petty. Then Petty Fallon was joined by Stevie Nicks and the two went on to perform a re-creation of the video for Nicks’ 1981 classic “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around.”

The performance is spot on and there’s even a sweet intro by Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic from Nirvana. I’ve included the original video below for comparison, so enjoy both. Or don’t because that’s always an option.
