Who knows why Trey Parker and Matt Stone decided that season 18 was the right time for South Park to turn into a serialized series, but I’m very glad that they did. Last night’s “#Rehash” brought together many of the show’s threads from the previous eight episodes: Randy, er, “Lorde” is forced to play a Women of Rock concert with Iggy Azalea, Miley Cyrus, and Nicki Minaj because — thanks to Stan playing freemium gaming — Canadians have all their money.
Oh yeah, and Lorde Randy rubbed his lady area in front of pre-teen girls (still not as bad as c*ck magic) and Hologram Tupac, who’s out to kill Hologram Michael Jackson, had sex with Sharon, and there’s also a bitter record executive who moaned that “today, commentary is the comment,” and Cartman turned into CartmanBrah after learning about PewDiePie, and…just watch the clip, then the full episode. It’s been a great season for South Park. The best since 14?
