A new poll shows that Americans would really like to see Tina Fey step in to replace Jon Stewart when he relinquishes his hosting duties on The Daily Show.
According to Quinnipiac University, over 1,000 registered U.S. voters were given a choice between Fey, Chelsea Handler, John Oliver, Craig Ferguson, Brian Williams, and Dennis Miller.
You can break down the specifics regarding what demographic voted for whom. What’s really interesting here is that Tina Fey received 19% of the vote while Dennis Miller came in second with 16%.
Wha…huh?
If it puts anything into perspective, the same poll found Fox News as America’s most trusted news network. So there’s that.
