Rory’s Second Best Boyfriend Is Returning To ‘Gilmore Girls’

Should Katniss have picked Gale or Peeta? Andie with Blane or Duckie? Bridget with Mark or Daniel? The correct answer is, a woman don’t need no man to find true happiness, but also Peeta, Duckie, and Mark. Those are all fairly easy love triangles to solve, though not as simple as ranking Rory’s boyfriends on Gilmore Girls. Jess is the best, Logan’s in the middle, and Dean, the quintessential first love interest, is obviously the worst.

Rory — SPOILER — ends up with none of them, but according to TVLine, Logan, as played by Matt Czuchry, will be in Netflix’s Gilmore Girls revival.

Gilmore Girls fave Matt Czuchry — who played Rory’s last major boyfriend in Seasons 5-7 — has closed a deal to return for Netflix’s four-part revival. Earlier this week, Gilmore creator Amy Sherman-Palladino [said], “Our plan is to get as many of [Rory’s] lovely men back as possible,” but noted that deals were still being finalized. “We’re still dealing with who’s going to be in it. We definitely want to see them. And we have storylines planned. I just need someone to tell me they’re going to show up.” (Via)

“They’re bringing back a Huntzberger, but not me???” — Melissa McCarthy

So that’s one ex-boyfriend down, two to go. Assuming Sherman-Palladino even bothers with Dean. Personally, I’d rather see Marty, who, because Gilmore Girls is on Netflix, can go full Naked Guy. He was Rory’s Luke all along.
