The second season of Review is zeroing in on its conclusion, and in this clip from the upcoming finale, Forrest tries to make sense of everything that’s happened to him over the past two seasons in the most logical, reasonable way he can: Crackpot conspiracy theories! Drawing inspiration from a conspiracy expert (played by Matt Besser, of UCB fame), he looks back at the parade of tragedies that has befallen him and wonders if, maybe, possibly, they’ve all been the work of a shadow organization intent on destroying him.

And who could blame him? The clip also contains a montage of these tragedies, and even though it is far from comprehensive (example: it barely touches on his love life, and skips over his father-in-law’s zero-gravity death), it’s still… man, Forrest has been through a lot. Maybe there is someone behind it all, tearing him down one review at a time. Or maybe it’s something. If there’s one thing we’ve learned from Review over these past two seasons, it’s that we really can’t rule anything out.

What I’m saying is that my money is on Interdimensional Bigfoot. It would explain so much.
