Should Donald Trump Start Worrying About Ben Carson’s Rise In The Polls?

First and foremost, Donald Trump is not worried about anything. At least that’s what Tom Brady’s good buddy is telling his followers and the haters on Twitter, now that Ben Carson is reportedly close to the real estate mogul in the latest Iowa polls. Both Trump and Carson represent the “alternative” for conservative voters who are fed up with a career politician like Scott Walker (even though he swears he’s not while he repackages Trump’s slogan) and the same old business as usual from a genetically designed leader like Jeb Bush. But while Trump is the loud, brash, and so-called “honest” breath of fresh air that voters have been waiting for, the neurosurgeon Carson represents the more mild-mannered change of pace. You know, for people who prefer a different brand of… honesty.

While Trump has also been patting himself on the back for being “stupid” and rejecting all of that sweet campaign cash from his would-be donors, his “friend” and “nice guy” Carson has raised more than $6 million, which shows that his effort is not only alive and well, but thriving when an outsider would typically be falling off. Instead, governors and retread candidates Mike Huckabee and Bobby Jindal are desperately clinging to any relevance they can find to sway voters, hitching their wagons to the Kim Davis arrest because that beats the hell out of offering up actual solutions for the nation’s problems.
