“No One” was a good enough episode of Game of Thrones, and a lot happened. Tommen outlawed trial by combats, which is bad news for Cersei; the Brotherhood Without Banners is actively petitioning the Hound to join the Lord of Light’s cause; Daenerys returned to Meereen when her advisors and followers needed her the most; Bronn praised Podrick’s “magic cock”; the prideful Blackfish was killed in battle; and Arya managed to out-parkour the Waif, who despite all her rage, she is still just a face on a wall.
But despite all that, “No One” will always be remembered as The Episode Before the Bastard Bowl. And during the “next week on Game of Thrones” preview, we got our first look at Jon Snow/Sansa Stark vs. Ramsay Bolton.
Writer Bryan Cogman called it “definitely the biggest [action sequence yet],” adding, “We’ve always wanted to get to a place – story-wise and budget-wise and time-wise and resource-wise – where we would be able to do a proper battle, with one army on one side, one army on another side.”
They’re at that place, and fans are excited.
BASTARDBOWL HYPE BEGIN. LETS DO THIS.
