Billy Eichner has carved out his own manic niche in comedy, with Billy on the Street getting more outrageous and hilarious every season. Season four brought us New York shenanigans with Chris Pratt, Julianne Moore, and Anna Kendrick to name a few, and it sounds like season five will continue to attract the A-list talent. While no premiere date has been officially announced (“late 2016” is the best we’ve gotten), Sunday’s TCA panel gave us a few details about season five. The panel also gave us a hilarious look back at some of the best bits of season four, in which Eichner does what we all wish we could do to Chris Pratt (a bear hug, ya pervs).
TruTV revealed that Jon Hamm, John Oliver, Lupita N’yong’o, Aziz Ansari, and Seth Rogen will join Eichner to be screamed at and scream at unsuspecting New Yorkers in the name of comedy. It’s always extra fun to see “serious” actors break the mold and prove that, on top of winning Oscars and Emmys, they just love to laugh like the rest of us. The Funny Or Die produced series seems to have struck gold, and we can’t wait to see what happens next.
