Pop dynamo and world-famous friend collector Taylor Swift has an album she’d like you to listen to. No, she hasn’t pulled a Beyoncé. She’s just incredibly fond of the latest offering from rock vets Kings of Leon.Taylor gushed about the freshly released Walls on Instagram giving the album a hearty endorsement.

“I’ve been waiting for this album for SO LONG and it’s insane, you need it in your life,” Taylor wrote in a recent Instagram post. “Congratulations @kingsofleon.”

Taylor’s been quite keen on KoL of late — on Wednesday, the “Blank Space” singer caught a private concert the band was doing and attended with a collection of friends including Dakota Johnson, Cara Delevingne, Lorde, Zoë Kravitz and Suki Waterhouse for the gig. (Aww, no Katy invite?)

In case you’re curious, Taylor’s mini-review of Walls is one of the more flattering ones the new album has seen. Metacritic currently has the record scoring a respectable 64 overall.

Elsewhere in the world of pop intermingling with Kings of Leon, this seems like an excellent time to note that drummer Nathan Followill and Harry Styles are best buds. As The Sun points out, the two are quite close.

“Nathan and him, they have matching tattoos, it’s really weird. They have a really weird, strange relationship,” frontman Caleb Followill told The Sun about the band’s somewhat unlikely One Direction connection. “I think Nathan is just his number one groupie.”

We’ll have to wait and see if any of the Followills have a strong opinion about Zayn.
