Russell Westbrook Absolutely Nailed The Joe Dirt Costume That He Wore For Halloween

When Russell Westbrook does anything, the dude goes all-out. This doesn’t just mean on the basketball court, although his devil-may-care attitude has made him one of the most entertaining basketball players ever.

This also applies to his life off the court. Westbrook may be the most well-known Taylor Swift fan in all of professional sports, as his videos of him singing T-Swift songs always feature him rocking out. He’s also a big fan of Halloween, which we learned when he went out as Thunder teammate Steven Adams last year. Unfortunately, Adams did not reciprocate this and go as Westbrook, but that’s neither here nor there.

Westbrook showed off his 2016 Halloween costume on Friday, when the Thunder star and favorite to win the league MVP award this year went as Joe Dirt. It was such a simple get up, as he took a flannel shirt, cut the sleeves off, and walked around with that, a pair of jeans, and a mop. He also nailed the hair, as he got the perfect mullet/sideburns/facial hair combo for this costume.

He wasn’t the only Thunder player to show off a wonderful Halloween costume, as big man Nick Collison went out as Pablo Escobar.

I have no idea if the Thunder will win an NBA title this year, but the team definitely does Halloween better than any other squad in the NBA.
