Freezing our @WhiteHouse visit in time forever with @FLOTUS!#MannequinChallenge 🇺🇸 https://t.co/iX1qaJ8qQQ

The Mannequin Challenge is seemingly everywhere right now, but no group has put together an entry that can match up with what the Cleveland Cavaliers did on Thursday. LeBron James and company were invited to the White House after their NBA Championship victory in June and, while there were many highlights from the festivities, the team joined with First Lady Michelle Obama for a legendary video that was captured by the organization’s social media team.
As usual, there is a lot happening within this video, but LeBron fittingly posing alongside FLOTUS was the centerpiece. J.R. Smith wasn’t far from the action, and the nondescript shots of players like Dahntay Jones and James Jones make this all the more entertaining. For reference, the likes of Paul McCartney, Hillary Clinton, the Dallas Cowboys and others have taken part in this particular viral theme over the last few days, but the White House provides a backdrop that is very difficult to match.
Because it might be the last visit to the 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue for an NBA team for a while, it was nice to see the Cavs take full advantage, and it’s hard to imagine that anyone or anything can top what transpired here when it comes to the Mannequin Challenge.
