Eric Bledsoe seems like he’s ready to leave Phoenix. On the same day that the Suns fired head coach Earl Watson, Bledsoe tweeted that he no longer wants to “be here.” While it was a bit vague as to what he meant, the assumption is that this is a way for Bledsoe to demand a trade through social media.
Bledsoe wasn’t the only NBA player to send out a vague tweet this afternoon, as Clippers big man DeAndre Jordan decided to get in on the fun. And just like the post that Bledsoe made, this tweet looked like it had to do with the current situation regarding Phoenix’s point guard.
Jordan hit send on a tweet that wants someone to come home, and it’s not a stretch to assume he means his former teammate.
Come back home bro

Bledsoe spent his first three years in Los Angeles after a draft day trade made him a Clipper. He and Jordan were teammates during that tenure until Bledsoe was sent to Phoenix in a three-team deal that landed Los Angeles Jared Dudley and J.J. Redick. Save for the fact that he’s had a handful of injury issues that have held him out for extended periods of time, Bledsoe has been great in Phoenix, averaging 18.8 points and 6.0 assists per game over the last four years.
With the recent injury to Milos Teodosic and Patrick Beverley’s offensive limitations, Bledsoe would be a solid fit in Los Angeles if they wanted to make that deal. And if a Bledsoe return to the Clippers doesn’t happen, at least Jordan can say he went down swinging.
