Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul are still very sweet on their instant classic AMC series Breaking Bad. Considering the program’s legendary status (Alan Sepinwall ain’t writing Small Wonder 101) and the incredible performances both men provided, why wouldn’t they want to reflect? Holidays have been built on far less, y’know.
In a Twitter message that bubbled up online Saturday morning, Jesse Pinkman conjurer Aaron Paul marked the occasion with words of gratitude and a swell shared series tribute video.
“10 years ago today Mr. White and Jesse Pinkman decided to start cooking crystal meth.” tweeted Paul. “Thank you Vince for coming up with this crazy concept. Here’s a quick video of our journeys. Happy 10th anniversary #BreakingBad.”

Later in the day, Bryan Cranston used his Breaking Bad co-star tweet as the launching point for his own message. He borrowed Paul’s catchphrase too.
“Yo Bitch! I stole your line, Aaron. But you can ‘Say my name!'” declared the CranMan. “Just thinking about the 6 magical years on BB with our great cast and crew. I miss you all, even those Heisenberg had to kill. Vince, you’re a genius and a wonderful human being. Thank you for the ride of our lives!”

Cranston also found the timing of the current government shutdown to be a bit suspicious considering the landmark TV moment it coincides with.
“The government shutdown today comes on the 10th anniversary of the premiere of Breaking Bad, Jan 20, 2008,” he tweeted. “Coincidence? Or could Heisenberg have something to do with it? Hmmm?”

Breaking Bad die-hards have a lot to celebrate in 2018. A new season of Better Call Saul is on the way, AMC is offering a number of show-related treats and UPROXX sure as sugar won’t stop covering everything worthwhile Breaking Bad has to offer.
