It’s possible that Jonah Hill might be directing an upcoming music video for Gucci Mane in the near future.

On Saturday, the actor/filmmaker posted a screenshot of a text conversation on Instagram, and hinted at the collaboration.

“Waddup vato it’s Guwop,” Gucci Mane texted Hill.

Hill was clearly excited about the text and responded with, “Wowwwww been waiting for this text all my life.”

“Music videos were my favorite growing up and I feel grateful I get to direct them with some of my favorite artists,” Hill wrote in the Instagram caption. “Let’s go!”

It wouldn’t be the first time Hill directed a music video for a rapper. Last year, Hill directed Danny Brown’s “Ain’t It Funny” music video.

Hill also mentioned his resume of music videos in the caption. He directed the newly released music videos for Steve Lacy and Vampire Weekend. Last month, Hill was seen directing a music video for Vampire Weekend at a Zabar’s, a longstanding Manhattan restaurant.

Behind-the-scenes photos of Jonah Hill directing the music video to Vampire Weekend’s upcoming song, “Flower Moon” were also posted to Instagram.

Vampire Weekend recently shared a music video featuring a cameo by Jonah Hill for their new single, “Harmony Hall.” Hill is seen standing in the kitchen inspecting a pancake frontman Ezra Koenig had just made. Vampire Weekend’s upcoming fourth album, Father Of The Bride will be released this spring along with the music video directed by Hill.
