Last week we saw a supercut of every time a character on Game of Thrones takes a sip of wine. Today, we get a supercut of every time anyone on the show says the word “bastard.” There are a few lessons to take away from these developments:
- This video is oddly mesmerizing. At about the 0:20 mark, 30 or 40 “bastards” in, it almost becomes a song. I’m convinced this could be a club hit for some dirtbag DJ if he or she syncs it up to a thumping bass line and some laser sounds.
- There are a total of 91 “bastards” in the video’s 52 seconds. This works out to 1.75 “bastards” per second and over 6000 “bastards” per hour. An impressive clip, to be sure.
- That said, wouldn’t you have expected there to be more than 91 “bastards” in Game of Thrones so far? That’s barely 20 per season. I would have put the total over 300, easy.
- Game of Thrones fans are suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper bored right now.
I think that covers it.
