Our Golden Globes coverage continues with father-to-be Benedict Cumberbatch doing something he’s become known for: Cumberbombing. Er, we mean photobombing. First he was photobombing a never-the-wiser U2 on the red carpet before the Academy Awards last March, an act he later explained was done for a friend and involved the use of Whoopie Goldberg as a launching pad.
Now he’s back in the act as part of a bit during the Golden Globes, immortalized in a GIF made by Vulture. Seen above, he’s crashing a routine between Margaret Cho, reprising her North Korean dictator schtick from 30 Rock, and Meryl Streep, reprising her role as my hero.
No word on if Whoopie Goldberg was giving him a boost this time. We’ll keep you posted.
