The rules of Wheel of Fortune are pretty straightforward—spin the wheel, guess some letters, solve the puzzle, win money. Every once in awhile a contestant gets really confused and forgets how the game works. That’s what happened during last night’s episode when contestant James heard an incorrect solve from another contestant, then inexplicably gave that same incorrect answer twice. The exchange was so bizarre it led to a mini Pat Sajak temper tantrum.
Unsurprisingly, James did not move on to the bonus round. He ended up going home with $1,000, though. Poor fella, hope he makes it to the “Pointed Desert” one day.
