Pure entertainment: @Marc_DAmico is Combine tested, proving just how superior NBA prospects are to regular people.https://t.co/R3k8feCbsc

For many NBA Draft prospects, the Scouting Combine is a horrid, stressful experience. After working for years to support the dream of getting drafted and playing in the NBA, a poor physical measurement (like, say your wingspan isn’t what you thought it was) and boom, your stock can tank no matter how well you played in college. Something like this can stick with a prospect in the worst way:
Melo Trimble just missed the BOTTOM of the vertical jump measurement chart. #NBACombine

But without the personal stakes, getting all of your measurables taken can be fun, in an aspirational sort of way. Celtics.com reporter Marc D’Amico thought so, at least, so he was put through all the tests. You can see how he did up top, or just take a look at his numbers compared to the average Combine participant:
In most respects, D’Amico’s an average guy, which is to say miles behind the world-class athletes hoping to be NBA players. However, as his arms probably gave away at the start of the segment, D’Amico does know his way around a bench press. Now, if D’Amico wants, he could probably hit Brandon Ingram with a “Do you even lift, bro?” That would go over well.
