Billy Donovan is not sure what play was so controversial pic.twitter.com/qqOYN68jSH

Billy Donovan probably didn’t have a great view of the most infamous inbounds pass in NBA history. The Oklahoma City Thunder coach was some 70 feet away on the opposite sideline, his view obscured by towering professional athletes moving at an absolutely frenetic pace. It’s believable, basically, that he couldn’t see Dion Waiters pushing off on Manu Ginobili.
But for Donovan to feign ignorance of that egregious no-call during his post-game interview? After he had ample time to speak with his players, assistants, and any other organizational staff? Come on.
Words of advice: Never play poker against “Billy The Kid.”
