24-karat 3-1 trolling right there… (via Richard Jefferson's snapchat) pic.twitter.com/OUyKdeWaDV

You know, with the new NBA season underway, it can be easy to forget that the Golden State Warriors blew a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals. A lot has happened to help us lose sight of that fact, but the Cavaliers aren’t going to forget it anytime soon (thanks to their championship rings). Not only are they huge and garish like all championship rings are, but they also have a nice little design on the side reminding everyone of the Cavs’ three wins (and subsequently, the Warriors collapse) in a row.
It looks like for the Cavs wins in the Finals, the jeweler overlaid rubies on top of the traditional diamonds, but even if it’s just red glass, the point it makes is worth it. Sure, the Warriors blowing a 3-1 lead is great meme material now, but if they go on and win another title this year, it’ll likely fade from memory. Now that it’s been immortalized in those championship rings though, that 3-1 blown lead will truly last forever.

For an NBA vet like Richard Jefferson, getting that first ring after so long must have felt amazing, but hopefully he doesn’t wear it too much. Damn thing looks big enough to break his finger.
