Kyrie Irving Had All Day To Hit This Three After Juking John Henson Out Of His Shoes

Kyrie Irving may have flubbed away a 3-point shooting title at the All-Star game last week but he knows how to make a big three when it counts.

The Cleveland Cavaliers resident truther found himself all alone on the right wing after juking a Milwaukee Bucks defender flat on the Earth, hitting an easy three to put an exclamation point on the play.

Irving led the fast break and picked up defender John Henson near the baseline. A quick move by Irving, however, twisted up Henson, who tumbled to the floor and watched helplessly, horizontally, as Irving stepped behind the 3-point arc to line up a shot. Malcolm Brodgon tried in vain to navigate the floor and reach Irving before he lofted an arching shot toward the hoop. The ball—globe-like and rotating perfectly toward the net—allowed gravity to do its thing as it fell true and the Quicken Loans Arena crowd erupted in joy.

The trey helped Cleveland close the door on a scrappy Bucks team in the fourth quarter, pushing the lead to nine points with just under four minutes to play. The Cavs won, 102-95, despite LeBron James battling strep throat. Irving has 25 points, while James had 24 in the win.
