Remember when LeBron James started Game 3 0-of-10? Let’s just say he’s off to a bit better start in Tuesday night’s elimination contest. Even a 30-year-old James sure makes taking off from just inside the free throw line look pretty, pretty easy.
Even better for the Cleveland Cavaliers? Not only is Kyrie Irving playing, but the All-Star point guard hit a difficult runner and pull-up three-pointer to start the game. The Cavaliers will be underdogs against the Golden State Warriors next round regardless, but a healthy and effective Irving certainly makes their chances of bringing a title back to Northeast Ohio far greater than otherwise.
Cleveland leads Atlanta 19-14 midway through the first quarter.
