Sacha Baron Cohen, who’s still shooting scenes for Bruno, and Will Ferrell, who just wrapped Land of the Lost, are set to headline a comedy about Sherlock Holmes.  Judd Apatow is producing and Etan Cohen of Tropic Thunder (trailer here) is writing the script.

"Just the idea of Sacha and Will as Sherlock Holmes and Watson makes us laugh," said Col co-prexy [I have no idea what "Col co-prexy" means either, I think maybe it’s his military rank? –Ed.] Matt Tolmach. "Sacha and Will are two of the funniest and most talented guys on the planet, and having them take on these two iconic characters is frankly hilarious." [Variety]

At some point in the movie, Ferrell should turn to Cohen and be like, "It looks like our killer… was a man of few words,"  Then Cohen will go, "No shit, Sherlock."  I think that could be really funny, because people would recognize the phrase.  Either that or they could replace Cohen with the guy from Stomp the Yard and every once in a while he could yell, "Dass elementary, Holmes!" and do some crazy break dance.
