Jose Padilha’s Robocop remake, which was supposed to open next summer, recently got bumped all the way to February 2014, which might be a good thing, because after already taking knocks for the black suit and body armor looking like The Dark Knight, these new shots of black Robocop prone on a motorcycle are looking even more Dark Knight-esque.
I still have faith in Jose Padilha, and again, there’s no way to re-do Robocop without everyone bitching (more reason not to do it in the first place…), but Robocop is supposed shoot drug dealers in the face, not ride around on a little street bike looking like he’s getting finger cuffed.
