Make yourself an oil sandwich and get comfortable. Screen Junkies just released a new Honest Trailer for Transformers: Age Of Extinction, a follow-up to their slams on Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen over the battles which looked like “two junkyards having sex”. This time they dub Extinction “the dumbest, most incoherent Transformers movie yet, which is really saying something.” But at least this one features Boston Texas native Marky Mark, who is an inventor who invents things like an inventor.
They also point out the excessive creepiness of making the attractive female lead underage, dating a guy who’s 20, and then going out of their way to explain why we should be cool with that. “If only they’d put as much time into justifying the plot as they did for having sex with a minor,” Screen Junkies jokes.
This honest trailer flips into a voiceover by Kai-Ting Tiffany Wu partway through, as the last third of this video — like the movie itself — will pander to Chinese audiences. Because, as has been established, you must MAKE THEM CHINESE.
