Marvel made big waves on Netflix in 2015 with Daredevil and Jessica Jones, and they’ll definitely be continuing the hot streak in 2016 and 2017. This year sees the release of Daredevil season 2 and Luke Cage, then things will get really crazy in 2017 with The Defenders, Iron Fist, Daredevil season three and maybe (hopefully) Jessica Jones season two. That’s a hell of a lot of Marvel binge-watching!
Want to get even more hyped than you already are? During yesterday’s Luke Cage Comic-Con panel, Marvel unleashed a new Netflix sizzle reel mainly focusing on Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. You’ve probably already seen most of this footage before, but most of the Luke Cage stuff is new. We even get a glimpse of a certain skull-shirt-wearing vigilante at the end. (A tease for his upcoming sol series, perhaps?) Aside from all that, the sizzle reel does an excellent job of making Marvel’s Netflix shows feel like a cohesive universe. It’s definitely worth your time.
