Earlier this week we announced the synopsis for the highly anticipated crossover event coming up on “The Flash” and “Arrow”. The trailer for the crossover landed Tuesday night, and gives fans an early look at “Legends of Tomorrow” villain Casper Crump and future “Legends” heroes Hawkman and Hawkgirl.
Both “The Flash” and “Arrow” are on hiatus next week for the Thanksgiving holiday, and will return for part one of crossover event December 1, with “The Flash”, in an episode titled “Legends of Today”. Part two concludes on December 2, on “Arrow”, with an episode titled “Legends of Yesterday”.
Check out the trailer for the crossover event below:
In the trailer, both teams are seen coming together to fight a villain Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) says is “immortal.” This immortal villain seems to be tracking down Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) and Hawkman (Faulk Hentschel), who Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), and the rest of both teams must protect. The tagline for the crossover event is “Heroes Join Forces”, which is exactly what needs to happen in order for both teams to defeat immortal villain, Vandal Savage (Casper Crump). Hawkgirl also tests out her wings in the trailer, which looks amazing! Cisco's (Carlos Valdes) reaction is perfection.
“The Flash” 2.08 “Legends of Today” Synopsis:
In its second major crossover event with “Arrow,” Vandal Savage (guest star Casper Crump) arrives in Central City and sets his sights on Kendra Saunders (guest star Ciara Renée). After Vandal attacks Kendra and Cisco, they turn to Barry for help. Realizing how dangerous Vandal is, Barry takes Kendra to Star City and asks Oliver and team to hide her until he can figure out how to stop Vandal. However, things quickly go from bad to worse when a man with wings AKA Hawkman (guest star Falk Hentschel) shows up and flies off with Kendra. Meanwhile, Harrison develops a serum to make Barry run faster and asks Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) to test it out.
“Arrow” 2.08 “Legends of Yesterday” Synopsis:
Oliver and Barry Allen take Kendra Saunders and Carter Hall to a remote location to keep them hidden from Vandal Savage while they figure out how to defeat him. Malcolm arranges a meeting between Vandal, Green Arrow and The Flash that doesn”t go as planned. Meanwhile, Felicity, Thea, Diggle and Laurel work with Team Flash to come up with a weapon powerful enough to destroy Vandal Savage.
“The Flash” and “Arrow” crossover event begins December 1 at 8/9C on The CW.
