Back in March, we were hit with the first full length trailer for the next installment to the Mission Impossible franchise. In case you haven’t had your fill of Tom Cruise clinging onto things, we’ve got you covered because a new trailer for Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation surfaced on Monday.
Here we not only see 52-year-old Tom Cruise strapped to the side of an airplane, but we also witness the man plunging himself underwater where he proceeds to hold his breath for six minutes in one long take. Cruise allegedly did both of these things in the name of realistic cinematic entertainment.
There’s also a fair share of fights and car and motorcycle chases thrown in for good measure. Even though Jeremy Renner’s William Brandt is heard indicating this may very well be their last mission, Paramount is already developing a sixth installment to the series and, given Renner’s current Marvel film schedule, it’s possible the next MI movie won’t be released until Tom Cruise is officially considered a senior citizen.
