Mad Max: Fury Road may still be setting movie theater screens across the country on fire, but get ready to have your own flat-screens set ablaze when the film finally comes to Blu-ray and DVD!
According to ComingSoon.net, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment announced Tuesday that George Miller’s post-apocalyptic theatrical return will arrive as a Blu-ray Combo Pack, a Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack and a 2-disc DVD set on September 1st. An early Digital HD version of the film will be made available on August 11th.
Aside from the Black and White version that George Miller promised fans, here’s the list of special features you’ll find on both the Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD release:
- Maximum Fury: Filming Fury Road
- Mad Max: Fury on Four Wheels
- The Road Warriors: Max and Furiosa
- The Tools of the Wasteland
- The Five Wives: So Shiny, So Chrome
- Fury Road: Crash & Smash
- Deleted Scenes
Coinciding with this release will also be the Mad Max 4-Film Blu-ray Anthology. This set will feature Mad Max (1979), The Road Warrior (1981), Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985) and Mad Max: Fury Road on Blu-ray disc. If that wasn’t enough, the documentary Madness of Max and a set of “Mad Max Anthology” trading cards will also be included for your post apocalyptic enjoyment.
