Steve Jobs, the Danny Boyle-directed, Aaron Sorkin-written Steve Jobs biopic starring Michael Fassbender, has been getting good reviews. Contrast that with another Steve Jobs biopic from two years ago — Jobs, starring Ashton Kutcher — which was not as well received and really liked the word Steve despite omitting it from the title. (Side note: It’s not too late to make one more Steve Jobs biopic starring Jason Statham.)
Even though it’s clear which movie wins the day, Michael Fassbender isn’t going to ignore the presence of that other recent Steve Jobs movie. At the New York Film Festival on Saturday, Fassbender was asked how he prepared for the role.
“I studied Ashton Kutcher.”
In case there’s any doubt about his gleefulness at getting to drop that shade, here’s a GIF of his answer and post-burn chuckle. So sassy, that Fassy.
Good thing there’s a sponsored bottle of Fiji water on the floor there. Kelso is gonna need it for that burn.
