Every Marvel movie exists in one universe. So do Quentin Tarantino’s films (not in the same world as Marvel’s, obviously, although seeing Mr. Pink fight Thor would be cool, if brief). But did you know that nearly every Adam Sandler masterpiece, from SNL to the nostalgic disaster that was Pixels, is connected? You know it’s true because an insane person put it together.
Okay, Shawn Kohne isn’t actually insane — he’s a Los Angeles-based comedian who makes “cool videos for the Internet” — but his Sandlerverse theory is crazy. Basically, if you look hard enough, you can find something that connects most Happy Madison and other various Sandler productions.
Dan Patrick plays the same cop in The Longest Yard and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry; Jon Lovitz’s pervert from The Wedding Singer ages into Jon Lovitz’s pervert from Little Nicky; characters in Blended and 50 First Dates have a similar golf swing as Happy Gilmore. The list goes on and on.
Even Sandler’s co-writer and collaborator Tim Herlihy chimed in:
Amazing work, but you missed about 50 #PollyFector #JoeKnibb https://t.co/BO1SaapgTb

This means one of two things: Kohne has found a conspiracy that goes all the way to the top (which would explain the profitable deal with Netflix), or Sandler is super lazy and doesn’t care anymore. Hence, the sweatpants…
Either way, Adam Sandler is the SMARTEST MAN ALIVE.
