When we last checked in on Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, the movie’s production was delayed due to the announcement of Milla Jovovich’s second child with husband, and director, Paul W.S. Anderson. It looks like things are back on track as cameras are set to begin rolling next month.
As previously reported, Wentworth Miller will be returning as Chris Redfield in the film. According to Deadline, Ali Larter will be joining him in the final installment of the franchise, once again reprising her role as Claire Redfield. The new film’s story is set to take place after the events that transpired in Resident Evil: Retribution, “as the Project Alice is forced to race against time before the villainous Red Queen attempts to destroy the final remnants of humanity.”
This will be Larter’s third and final (?) appearance in the Resident Evil film series.
