Arnold Schwarzenegger in a zombie movie doesn’t sounds like a particularly promising proposition, but Maggie actually looks pretty good and certainly more subdued than your average Arnie flick. The movie is about a salt of the earth, Midwestern farmer (with an Austrian accent) who has to come to terms with the fact that his daughter has been infected with a slowly-progressing zombie virus.
In keeping with the more low-key tone, the first clip of Maggie is just Schwarzenegger and Abigail Breslin talking it out after Arnie saves her, despite her being bit. Not a lot of blood and guts in this scene, but there’s some ominous arm scratching. Maggie hits theaters on May 8.
