We’re a little more than two months away from the release of Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice and the inundation has really just begun. More featurettes, interviews, and sneak peeks are on the way, ready to join with what we’ve already seen to make a mosaic that is, hopefully, enticing but not too revealing. One guard against showing too much? Releasing fresh images and takes that are mixed with the things we’ve seen before.
Which brings us to the clip Zack Snyder brought with him (a big reel, tucked under his arm, no doubt) to Conan. As you can see above, it’s Superman standing on top of the Batmobile, as we saw before in the SDCC trailer. But this time, we get to see the full extent of their tough guy showdown as Superman tells Batman not to answer the call the next time he sees the bat-signal, and that, “The bat is dead. Buried. Consider this mercy.” Batman’s retort? The ever-so-familiar, “Do you bleed?” line that has been giving us all chills for quite awhile. Will these two eventually join together to show off the ultimate power of super friendship? We’ll have to wait till March 25 to find out (but yes, they totally will). Or until the next clip or the one after that.
