Have you ever wondered what Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice would have been like if it had starred Michael Keaton as Batman, Christopher Reeve as Superman, and Gene Hackman as the villain pulling the strings and peeing in jars? Good news, weirdo! That version of Snyder’s unevenly received gloomfest now exists, thanks to YouTube user Stryder HD. Add it to your queue next to the Affleck V Affleck version.

Stryder HD created the retro mashup using audio from Batman V Superman and clips of Michael Keaton’s Batman (introduced in 1989 in Tim Burton’s Batman) juxtaposed with Christopher Reeve’s Superman and Gene Hackman’s Lex Luthor (introduced in 1978 in Richard Donner’s Superman).

This mashup also reminds us of the awful Superman IV: The Quest for Peace with Jon Cryer and Nuclear Man, and we’re going to need something pleasant to distract us from that disaster. Perhaps that distraction can come from a brief but welcome glimpse of Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman from the ’70s TV series. It wasn’t the best clip of her, however, which is — as we can all agree — the time she just up and threw a dude into another dude.

We’ve all had those days.
