Does anyone like Daredevil? No, not that one. The other one.
The 2003 blind-superhero movie starring Seether, Evanescence, and Hoobastank was a dud among critics (44% on Rotten Tomatoes) and moviegoers (35%) alike — one of the few positive reviews I found comes from some dude on Amazon, who wrote, “Nice – it is what it is – you like it or not — I LIKE!!” Fair enough. Star Ben Affleck certainly isn’t a fan. He’s previously said the film “didn’t work, at all” and “I have regrets about Daredevil,” and in a new interview with the New York Times, he got to the heart of the matter.
“That’s the movie I want to do. I want to be a part of that,” he said of Zack Snyder’s [Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice]. “Part of it was I wanted for once to get one of these movies and do it right – to do a good version. I hate Daredevil so much… It frustrated me. The Netflix show does really cool stuff. I feel like that was there for us to do with that character, and we never kind of got it right. I wanted to do one of those movies and sort of get it right. (Via)
That’s how bad Daredevil is. Compared to Dawn of Justice, it’s the bad one.
