Very few lines have the shelf life that the legendary line from Mandy Patinkin did from The Princess Bride; “Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.” That famous line came from Patinkin’s Inigo Montoya and lives on to this day, as does the film The Princess Bride in general. Fans of the film have helped it to live on as a classic since its release in 1987 and stuff like this photo help it to live on.

Cary Elwes tweeted out this photo of himself and Patinkin today while working on the film The Queen of Spain, which both are starring in. Elwes famously portrayed Westley, while Patinkin played Inigo Montoya, part of a trio of bandits who kidnapped Westley’s dearest love, Buttercup. As you can imagine, fans of the film were immediately excited at the news of both men working together again, although many were hoping for a sword fight between the two.
It is safe to say that nobody in their new picture, The Queen of Spain, will don a mask and become the Dread Pirate Roberts, but at least fans will get the satisfaction of seeing the two men share the screen again.
