Chris Pratt And Anna Faris’ Adorable Son Gave The Best Name To A Penguin

When Chris Pratt and Anna Faris share their family moments, the Internet listens. Perhaps this happens because Pratt has earned his keep as a movie star in demand, but he hasn’t forgotten what matters most in life. He’s made no secret of his desire to leave Hollywood behind when the time is right. In the meantime, he shares many inspirational and hilarious moments about his son, Jack. He and Anna gently shamed Jack for his potty-training mishaps, and Pratt shared his Memorial Day and Labor Day celebrations with fans.

Now a new Pratt family moment has taken the Internet’s ovaries by storm. The Seattle Woodland Park Zoo asked little Jack to name their new penguin. In this video announcement, Faris said, “We are so honored that we have been chosen to name your newest penguin addition, and so Jack has decided that we will name the baby penguin…”

Faris turned the mic over to Jack, who gleefully shouted, “Eagle the Penguin!”

Anna said, “Chris and I grew up in Washington state and we love bald eagles. We thought that a penguin with aspirations to fly might be really fun. We cannot wait to meet you Eagle!”

The zoo was thrilled with the penguin’s new name and told Jack he “nailed it”:

Pratt followed up on Facebook with this sweet announcement:

“Anna and I grew up in the Pacific Northwest. I remember the awesome salmon and trout rivers, the bears, the elephants… Oh. Im talking of course about the @woodlandparkzoo !! If you haven’t had a chance to check it out you really must. It’s such a well run and gorgeous facility.

“Who’d have thought that 15 some years later we’d meet in Hollywood, fall in love, get married, have a baby and that baby boy would be given the opportunity to NAME A PENGUIN CHICK a the zoo!? I mean come on!”

It’s hard not to feel the Pratt family enthusiasm. They’re living the dream.
