We first reported on the planned movie adaptation for The Stanford Prison Experiment back in August. After viewing the trailer, Mike Ryan may be correct in saying Kyle Patrick Alvarez‘s movie will make audiences question their humanity.
The Stanford Prison Experiment stars Billy Crudup as psychology professor Philip Zimbardo. The man led the college’s infamous social experiment which used college kids to recreate a prison environment. Of course, everything went wrong and all hell broke loose, causing authorities to shut down the experiment after only six days.
The Stanford Prison Experiment is set to hit theaters July 17th, followed by a VOD release a week later.
