We here at UPROXX would like to wish you and yours a happy Batman Day. We’re light on presents, but Justice League helmer Zack Snyder didn’t show up emptyhanded. He tweeted out a couple of images that are definitely of interest.
Served up on Twitter was a quick glimpse at newly minted Commissioner Gordon J.K. Simmons. We’d say there’s not a whole lot to unpack from this image, but won’t stop this thing from being analyzed into a fine paste, now will it? (“Look at the way he’s positioned! Simmons is gonna sing ‘Kiss From A Rose ’17!'”)

Snyder also shared a pic that features the Bat-Signal in more of the spotlight. Don’t worry, the Batman logo hasn’t been changed to anything from Sucker Punch.

Speaking of the wheelings and dealings of Justice League, the likely blockbuster is currently positioned for a November 17, 2017 release. This ensemble piece will feature Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), The Flash (Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and Wonder Women (Gal Gadot) handling some variety of nefariousness. It’ll be intriguing to see how (or if) DC tinkers with their current formula in the wake of tepid reviews for Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad this summer. Bring on the months of polite waiting!
