Deadpool earned an R-rating for “strong language and violence throughout, sexual content and graphic nudity,” and it was even banned from theaters in China for being just too awesome, apparently. So, it may surprise you — or not, because it’s Deadpool — to hear the movie has an even raunchier Director’s Cut coming soon. Here’s awesome morning show guest T.J. Miller (Weasel) at a fan event in London revealing a “more raw” cut coming this fall:

“But yeah, so the idea that when you see the fall director’s cut of it, that that’s going to be even more raw, that’s pretty heavy duty.”
Does that mean Deadpool is coming to Blu-ray and DVD this fall? It sounds that way, and we already saw hints in the different dialogue for the same scenes in the trailers and TV spots that there are multiple versions of several scenes, with more bawdy jokes available for alternate cuts. And does anybody think T.J. Miller or Ryan Reynolds could resist improvising a few especially raunchy one-liners?
And Fox may be keen to capitalize with multiple versions of the film, considering it’s already garnering great word of mouth and tracking beyond expectations. It’s currently tracking to debut with more than $55 million, in part because of its placement in the Valentine’s Day weekend. And it does look so romantic…

Is that the Chimichanga constellation? That one’s our favorite.
