Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson‘s championship-certified brand of ass-kicking will definitely be joining him in 2017’s update of Jumanji. (No word on if his WrestleMania flamethrower made the cut, though.)
As is customary for this mountain of muscle, charm and flattering magazine honors, Johnson has been documenting his assorted wheelings and dealings on the Jumanji set. The latest items to pop up? A pair of behind-the-scenes pictures from what appears to be plucked from a PlayStation 2 action/adventure game have been offered up to social media for our gawking pleasure.
‘Doin’ dirt with my stunt brothers tonight. Rehearsals before the bodies hit the floor…” writes the actor/possible Drowning Pool fan. “I’m searching for a good spot to break his leg with one shot. This scene also looks like what happens when too many drugs are taken at a party. Just say no.”
Drugs! Bone breaking! BODIES HITTING THE FLOOR! You intrigue us, new Jumanji. (We’re reading way too much into the caption, but it’s fun to fantasize sometimes.)
“This bad man is an a**hole and I must throw him thru this cement pillar. My hand strength is like vice grips… he has no choice,” explains the megastar.
“For the record, this man is roughly 6’8 and well over 350lbs – he’s massive and mean – I must run away now to preserve my health.”
Provided The Rock doesn’t die at the hands of that “bad man,” we’d like to continue our push for Dwayne and Wyclef Jean to realign for a soundtrack cut. That’s not a dealbreaker, just a suggestion. Jumanji is set to arrive in theaters on December 22, 2017 with a cast that also boasts Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Karen Gillan and Nick Jonas.
