Three times now, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has brilliantly filled the SNL hosting seat. With a new movie, Furious 7, set to release in a matter of weeks, the man is about to go for a coveted fourth go-round with the NBC series according to EW. The former pro wrestler turned action icon will hosting the NBC staple on March 28th.
Something that’ll certainly be different for Johnson this time around is that this appearance will mark his first time hosting without also being an active or semi-active member of the WWE roster.
One would assume some sketches based around that are a possibility, maybe a few Fast & Furious jokes as well, and a probable return of The Rock Obama. That would be an enjoyable sight for what will most likely be the actor’s final appearance on the show during the current administration’s run.
