The newest trailer for Tomorrowland premiered during the MTV Movie Awards, featuring the joys of fighting robots, ships called “camels,” and possibly time travel.
Brad Bird and Damon Lindelof’s highly-secretive and highly-anticipated science-fiction adventure film is coming out on May 22. With a little over a month before its release, very little of the plot has been revealed, but the new trailer reveals that it has to do with the future of Tomorrowland and whether Casey, played by Britt Robertson, can change the future.
The new trailer also shows off a ship that Clooney refers to as a “camel.” When Casey presses him about it, he scoffs, “Can’t you just be amazed and move on?” Coincidentally, this is also Disney’s marketing strategy behind Tomorrowland. “Brad Bird! George Clooney! Hugh Laurie! Space ships! Who cares about the plot? Be amazed and move on!”
