Good news for Good Burger devotees! We may be inching our way toward another Kenan & Kel big screen adventure. Yes, 2016 truly is an exciting time to be alive.
Kel Mitchell has offered up hope that Good Burger 2 could actually be a possibility. During his appearance on the Brown and Scoop podcast, Mitchell confirmed that he and fellow All That alum Kenan Thompson have talked about following up their 1997 Nickelodeon offering.
“Everybody is talking about a Good Burger 2, us doing a Bad Boys type of film,” said Mitchell. “Me and Kenan have definitely been talking about it. You might definitely see something coming up with me and him soon. We have definitely been talking about doing something big for the fans, because everybody has been looking for it,” he added. “They want us back together.”
The options of where you can go with a Good Burger 2 are limitless, really. Put Ed and Dexter anywhere and we’ll be dazzled. (Space? Is that a possibility?) As we saw on The Tonight Show last year, Kenan and Kel still make a winning team. Fans dug the reunion, the sketch is closing in on 10 million views on YouTube, and we’re still in a sweet spot for getting excited about revivals. Hopefully, we’ll see them on the big screen again soon.
