Harrison Ford has clearly been having fun promoting Star Wars: The Force Awakens, whether he’s been in a hot dog costume or burying the hatchet with Chewbacca. Coincidentally, medical marijuana is still legal in California.
He’s also taken a more serious tack with some of these promotions, such as when he’s praising the film or surprising charity donors. Thankfully, his interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon Tuesday night was of the silly variety. Fallon tried to ask about J.J. Abrams breaking his back while helping Ford after he dislocated his ankle on set, but Ford was more interested in goofing around than talking about on-set injuries. When Fallon handed him a Han Solo toy to demonstrate on it where Star Wars: The Force Awakens hurt him, Ford became very animated, to put it mildly.
We’re sorry to hear about the “amateur mohel” accident, but glad to hear this exchange:
“Did you get emotional when you put the [Han Solo] wardrobe on?”
“No, I got paid.”
Harrison Ford is the honey badger of actors.
