Back in 2013, we heard an ugly rumor that Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg were not only trying to make another one of their one-of-a-kind “spoof” films, but they had actually received financing. The film would be called Superfast! and it would be a very timely takedown of the The Fast and the Furious franchise, which started almost 14 years ago. Today, shockingly, there’s an actual trailer for Superfast!, and at this point it’s not even shooting fish in a barrel to point out how terrible this movie looks. It’d be like filling a barrel with goldfish crackers and setting it on fire.

What’s actually funny about this trailer isn’t the woefully predictable “joke” of the hot girl being run over, all of the terrible acting performances by paycheck collectors with no experience in comedy, or the same f*cking dance joke that these guys have used before. It’s that YouTube commenters are outraged that Seltzer and Friedberg are “spoofing” Paul Walker so soon after his death.

F*ck it, if that’s what finally takes these guys down, so be it. HOW DARE YOU MOCK PAUL WALKER??? Now someone start the online petition.
