The newest honest trailer from Screen Junkies pulls no punches with Suicide Squad. Right out of the gate, they go in hard, volleying with, “After the… mixed reception to their last movie [Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice], Warner probably regrets spending just six weeks on the script to this one. Now they have four short months to reshuffle their executives, juggle seven different cuts, reshoot the third act, deliver on all the Joker stuff they already put in the trailers, and manage a director who takes shots at their biggest competition. [David Ayer yelling “F*ck Marvel”] It’s like they’re some kind of… hmm, what’s the word?”
Ooo! Ooo! Pick me! I know this one!
Wait, wrong movie where Will Smith says the title of the movie in the movie.
The honest trailer goes on to take shots at Cara Delevingne’s Enchantress — likening her to a wacky arm-waving inflatable tube man — and Jared Leto’s “manorexic juggalo” portrayal of the Joker, who is such an edgelord, you guys. “It’s so edgy, you could cut him out of the movie and it wouldn’t make any difference.”
