In the wake of the whole Sony cyberattack fiasco which played out over the past month, Hustler Video has joined the party by announcing plans to produce a new pornographic parody of The Interview. Adding to their already expansive “This Ain’t…” library of x-rated parodies, This Ain’t The Interview will follow the story of two civilians recruited by the CIA to assassinate the leader of North Korea. From THR:
Hustler founder and chairman Larry Flynt alluded to the backlash against Sony’s cancelation of The Interview’s release in his statement announcing the parody. “I’ve spent a lifetime fighting for the First Amendment, and no foreign dictator is going to take away my right to free speech,” he said. (His 1988 Supreme Court win against Jerry Falwell is considered a landmark of free expression law.)
“If Kim Jong Un and his henchmen were upset before, wait till they see the movie we’re going to make,” Flynt added.
Production of the film is set to begin in early 2015. Leave it up to the adult film industry to tell the story that Sony Entertainment couldn’t. Hustler really is setting an example by bravely putting their balls where their mouth is. Wait, that’s totally the correct phrase for this scenario, right?
