According to famous people, being a celebrity is either awesome, terrible, or indiscernible. It’s always hard to tell when the drug-induced schizophrenia kicks in on camera.
Things seem to be going pretty well for English thespian Idris Elba. Going well until other human beings become involved. Seems Elba is getting scared he might be trapped in a Truman Show-esque scenario. From The Mirror:
“You know The Truman Show? Sometimes you’re not sure what’s real or not, especially when it comes to relationships. If you’re adored by millions, sometimes even on your own front doorstep you can become paranoid and constantly question, ‘Who is he? Who is she? I know I’ve been guilty of it in the past.”
Idris “we’re canceling the apocalypse” Elba thinks people gravitate towards him because he’s “down-to-earth,” but I think it has more to do with his inability to keep off social media when making a booty call. Shirtless pics are like bait to the curious public.
